Wash and clean the whole plant. Put everything into a boiling pot including the flowers, stems, leaves and roots. Put in about 5 litres of water and add some rock sugar to taste.
Or you can boil it with chicken , chicken legs or any other meat with chinese jujube - red dates, Chinese Wolfberry / Fructus Lycii (gou ji zi) 枸杞子. and dang shen. and a little salt to taste.
